Andrew Von Teichman


CEO & Founder

Andrew has worked in the beverage alcohol industry for the last 25+ years, and it was his passion for farming that bridged Andrew’s interest to the cannabis industry.  

Andrew has worked for family business, global CPG leaders, and most recently lived the entrepreneurial life by building Von Terra Enterprises Ltd and Generations Wine Company Ltd.

He has been awarded the prestigious Elsie award six times, is a father to four boys and aspires to see Green Hedge become the leading cannabis distribution and education company in Canada.

 

Amee Norman


Director of National Sales

Amee Norman is a passionate, results-driven sales professional with extensive experience in purveying good times. 

She built her career in the beverage alcohol industry and transitioned to cannabis to join the Green Hedge family in 2019. 

Over 10+ years of wearing multiple hats, from brand ambassador, on/off-premise territory management, trade development & marketing management, Amee is a well-rounded and experienced sales professional with a thorough understanding of sales operations.  Having represented some of the largest brands in the world, Amee has a unique skill set that marries corporate-level execution with authentic cannabis culture values.  

Personally, Amee loves travelling, music, and joints. 

JEFF HODGSON


Director of Marketing and Insights

A professional poker player who chose to pursue a marketing career, later became a Bain & Company strategy consultant, then at the time of Canadian legalization joined the cannabis industry. Jeff is fueled by seeking out interesting challenges.

Having previously focused on the California cannabis market, Jeff has now turned his attention back home to solve the evolving puzzle of the Canadian market. He brings a wealth of strategy & marketing experiences in diverse fields, with past cannabis experience in helping to guide Origin House toward its acquisition at over $500 million.

In steering the path of brands, Jeff has walked the desert of unobtainable marketing info in this industry. He believes there’s a better, more accurate way to do this and it requires a national team of people with relationships in their regions.

STEVE CRICHTON


Director of Education & Corporate Development

Flat out, Steve’s passion is cannabis & culture. He’s been immersed in the industry since the mid 90’s, from a grower to running the daily operations of a genetics company, to owning his own retail store.

Steve has been advocating for patient access and building high level relationships within the community. Previous collaborations and partnerships with DJ Short, Legend Seeds & Chimera Genetics.

Coming over from Ethical Profiling in 2018, where he was the west coast sales director for close to 10 years, Steve’s focus has been on cannabis education, brand building, sales and corporate development.

His mission at Green Hedge is to build connective tissue within the new legal cannabis market and infuse it with the legacy culture.

MAEGAN SHISKOS


Portfolio Manager (Edibles & Beverages)

Maegan Shiskos has an extensive background in sales, product education, management and retail.

She previously worked in the cosmetic industry for over 8 years, most recently at L’Oreal Canada. Maegan wore many hats within her time in cosmetic industry including sales and event management, product training/education, and social media/public relations for some of the top retails in Ontario.

Maegan has built her career in the cosmetic industry, but her tangible skills in client relationships, sales goals and management is what she brings to the table at Green Hedge.

Wallace lambert


Portfolio Manager (Craft)

Wallace Lambert is a competitive sales professional who thrives on building productive relationships with her sales and customer teams.

Wallace’s success began in Nova Scotia in the hospitality industry.  She supported extraordinary chefs on the front lines, proudly meeting the high expectations of their clientele. At the same time, she pursued her business credentials and worked in creative and logistics positions for Nova Scotia Tourism festival events throughout the province.

In 2017 she joined JTI-Macdonald Corp. in Calgary. With JTI, she grew market share by negotiating retail contracts and monitoring CPG compliance and satisfaction for key accounts. In 2021, she was the recipient of JTI’s “Shake It Up” award, recognizing an employee that brings forward innovative ideas to solve business challenges and mitigate risks.

Wallace joined Green Hedge in 2021. Her commitment to the value of relationships, critical thinking, creative messaging and good old hard work will serve Green Hedge clients well.

IAN FREEMAN


Regional Sales Manager (Ontario) & Key Account Manager

A Gregarious and innovative self-starter, Ian approaches the Cannabis industry with fresh eyes and an extreme appreciation for how lucky we all are to be in this space.  With a professional sales career that has spanned over a decade, Ian’s focus will always be on forging meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships.

After spending time in Environmental Services, Industrial Supplies, Beverage Alcohol, and now Cannabis, Ian has developed a passion for the retail atmosphere and brings a high level acumen coupled with joyful excitement to support the fine purveyors of all things legal cannabis.  What began as a casual joint at a party with friends has now evolved into a full blown session with the entire country!

Ian has many things he loves, such as his wife Andrea, his dog Charlie, baseball and cooking.  But along with all of those things, he loves Cannabis.  He loves the people in Cannabis.  And he really wants to see this industry be what we all thought it would be.  That last part is incumbent on each and every one of us.

SERGIO LAVAGGI


Regional Sales Manager (British Columbia)

Sergio Lavaggi has an extensive history in sales, management, retail and hospitality.

This includes 8 years as a Real Estate Agent with Prudential Sussex Realty before going on to manage the award winning Fishworks Restaurant in Vancouver for 10 years.

He most recently managed a team of 10-12 staff at one of the busiest cannabis retailers in the heart of Vancouver, and has brought his knowledge of cannabis retail to his role with Green Hedge.

Above all, with a passion for people, Sergio's high standards have made him a success in various fields and his passion for the plant is felt in every interaction.

Since legalization we have become among the top 3 leading distributors in the country. Although we leverage our backgrounds in CPG, Tobacco and beverage alcohol,  we don’t pretend to be Cannabis….
